Medical First Responder 2 Training Course

Athabasca Basin Medical in collaboration with Prince Albert Grand Council Dene and Northlands College will be hosting a fourteen (14) day course in Medical First Responder 2 Training for First Nations members in the Athabasca Basin Region.

What will this training provide:  An understanding of Emergency Medical Services and paramedics to allow for a higher success rates in the Primary Care Paramedic Program

Location: Northlands College Campus – Stony Rapids, SK

Date: January 8 – 21, 2019 (14 day course, including weekends)

Time: 8:30am – 6:00pm

Student Obligations:  This intense program requires the full commitment of all participants:

  • 100% participation & attendance
  • After hours study
  • Successful completion of written exams
  • Successful completion of skills assessments
